This is the official website for Blaggards, the band I co-founded with Patrick Devlin back in 2004.
Our site has gone through many different iterations over the years. The original Blaggards website was 100% hand-coded—something I was very proud of—but eventually I realized I needed some kind of content management system. That’s when I started working with WordPress, and it quickly became my preferred platform to build websites on.
Most recently, I’ve developed a custom gig calendar tool for Blaggards using the open source Pods framework, which has blissfully freed me from the bloated events calendar plugins I used to rely on. All my clients with similar needs will benefit from this, as well.
